This product is a naturally occurring antimicrobial enzyme that hydrolyses bacterial cell walls by cleaving the β-1,4-glycosidic linkages between N-acetylmuramic acid and N-acetylglucosamine. This method offers a wide range action against the Gram-positive bacteria and is a safe alternative to chemical preservatives.
Unlike synthetic antimicrobials that are under the regulatory limits, our enzyme is stable at pH 4.0-7.0 and temperatures up to 60°C. It has a dual purpose as a preservative and a bioactive element for immunological health.
